Bradford City have recently announced that they have recalled striker Eoin Doyle early from his loan spell with League Two promotion rivals Swindon Town.

Doyle netted 23 goals in his time with the Robins, who currently occupy top-spot in League Two, and he'll leave a sizeable void in their squad.

But Swindon's loss is Bradford's gain, and Gary Bowyer will be hoping that Doyle can replicate these impressive showings for his side as we head into the second-half of this year's league campaign.

In our latest FLW Spotlight, we look into Doyle's statistics from this season in more detail and see how much of an impact he could have for the Bantams after returning to Valley Parade.

Doyle's statistics speak for themselves, and Bradford simply have to focus their promotion bid around the in-form striker who has been in remarkable form this season in League Two.

Bradford's current top goalscorer is James Vaughan with nine goals to his name, so to have Doyle returning to the club will be a huge boost for Bradford as they look to make a swift return to the third tier of English football.

Doyle has had 37 shots on target this season in League Two, which makes his goal record even more impressive, given that he scored with 73 of his efforts on goal which were on target.

The 31-year-old won a total of 147 duels, which show that his work ethic off the ball is also a strong asset of his that Bradford will be keen to see him build on as their promotion bid continues.

He's also shown that he's a team player and can bring other members of his team into the game by his passing accuracy. Doyle attempted 411 passes, and with 278 of them being accurate, it's another statistic that makes for good reading for the forward.

One area that Doyle will feel as though he can improve on though is his aerial duels won, with the striker winning just 29 out of the 132 aerial duels he has faced so far in this year's league campaign.

These statistics show that Doyle is the in-form striker in League Two at the moment, and you have to feel as though Bradford will have a strong chance of winning promotion back into League One if Doyle can continue to add to his goal tally this season.
