Bradford City suffered a disappointing 2017/18 campaign, failing to challenge for the play-offs following Stuart McCall’s departure at Valley Parade.

Simon Grayson was unable to resurrect a play-off push, with Bradford eventually finishing 11th in League One.

Grayson has also departed Valley Parade, with Bradford on the lookout for a new manager, as they also look to bolster their playing squad, which needs a reshape.

One player Bradford could turn to this summer is Marc McNulty, who has been key to Coventry City’s promotion push in League Two.

We take a look at McNulty in our latest FLW Spotlight:

The striker has been influential for Coventry, scoring 25 goals from his 44 appearances in Sky Blue.

McNulty has a goal every 144.6 minutes he takes to the field and has added six assists to his impressive goal tally.

In total, the 25-year-old has had 108 shots on goal, whilst his busy style has also seen him win 40 fouls.

The Verdict

Bradford’s playing squad needs a reshape, and in attack, a player like McNulty would be absolutely ideal for the Bantams.

At 25, McNulty is reaching his best and clearly has enough about him to play League One football.

Any deal involving the forward could depend on Coventry’s play-off final with Exeter City on Monday, as if the Sky Blues are playing in the same division as Bradford, McNulty might be put off a deal.

Either way, it is certainly worth Bradford monitoring McNulty, with a view to making a move this summer.
