Leeds United will expect to make it three wins in a row when they host struggling Wigan Athletic at Elland Road.

Marcelo Bielsa's side hold a three-point lead over Sheffield United in the race for automatic promotion and they will see the visit of the Latics, who have won just once away all season, as a great fixture.

The Whites head into the game on the back of a 1-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday last week, although the scoreline doesn't tell the whole story as Leeds were relentless and dominant throughout.

Therefore, changes will be minimal against Wigan and here we look at the XI we expect Bielsa to go with.

The only decision in the back five will be if skipper Liam Cooper is fit. However, it's going to be tough for him to make it and when you consider they have Brentford away on Monday, it would make little sense in risking him.

So, Gaetano Berardi will partner Pontus Jansson in the heart of the defence, with Luke Ayling and Ezgjan Alioski set to provide the width from the flanks.

In midfield, it's going to be similarly straightforward for the Argentinian.

Kalvin Phillips will look to control the tempo from deep for the hosts, with Tyler Roberts and Mateusz Klich given license to roam forward and they will provide a real energy for the team.

The classy Pablo Hernandez will drift infield from the right flank and is often the main man for Leeds in the final third, whilst Jack Harrison will want to build on his matchwinning goal last time out.

That means the only real dilemma for Bielsa is up top, with Patrick Bamford wasteful against the Owls. Given that, we can see Kemar Roofe starting, with the manager sure to rotate his strikers over the two games.
