Leeds United have finally entered the transfer market having completed the transfer of Real Madrid goalkeeper Kiko Casilla.

Marcelo Bielsa could look to add more players to his side in the next two weeks as they bid to stay top of the table heading into the final few months of the campaign.

For players to come in, some will surely leave, to make space in the squad and to avoid stockpiling members of the playing staff.

Now that Casilla is at Thorp Arch, that could be the start of a series of transfer events within the club regarding both ins and outs.

Regulations now frown upon mass signings with fewer outgoings, so to balance to books and to be on the right side of Financial Fair Play, players will need to leave before others come into the club.

With that said, here are TWO transfers that need finalising that will surely delight Leeds United’s supporters.

Ronan Curtis arrives at Elland Road

With all the speculation surrounding the future of Jack Clarke, Leeds could well be looking to hedge their bets and scout the Portsmouth attacker.

Curtis should be a transfer target regardless.

He has 13 goals to his name this term and has been a pivotal part of what Portsmouth have achieved so far this season.

Adding him to the ranks at Elland Road could go a long way in securing promotion to the Premier League

Will Huffer leaves to develop further

The 20-year-old has made just one appearance this season back in November, playing in goal in Leeds’ 2-0 win over Bristol City.

Kiko Casilla has arrived since, and with him in the side, Huffer will revert away from the first team and back to the U23s.

The goalkeeper would do well to secure a move away from Elland Road to develop further and learn his trade on a regular basis.

Having had a taste of first-team football in the Championship, he will want to have that once more, and a move to play competitive men’s football regularly will excite Leeds fans who will want one of their own to succeed further down the line.
