Robert Snodgrass has been key to Aston Villa’s promotion push in the Sky Bet Championship this season, with the on-loan winger in inspired form at Villa Park.

Steve Bruce recruited Snodgrass late in last summer’s window, with the 30-year-old returning seven goals and 14 assists in his 38 appearances in claret and blue.

Villa will be keen to bring Snodgrass back to Villa Park next season after such an impressive impact in the Championship, but according to reports, West Ham United, the player’s parent-club, have slapped a £12m price-tag on the Scottish international.

It looks likely that Villa’s only way of adding Snodgrass to their squad permanently will be if they are promoted.

With that in mind, we took to Twitter to get the view of Villa’s supporters, asking whether £12m would be a fair price to pay for Snodgrass.

In our FLW Poll, the majority of Villa’s supporters voted in the belief that £12m was NOT a fair price to pay for the influential winger, with just 33% of voters agreeing that the reported fee was acceptable.
