Stoke City will be hopeful of bagging points tomorrow as they travel to crisis-club Ipswich hoping to ascend the table.

Despite it only being February, the Potters' hopes of a play-off place have all but gone, meaning they're likely to be playing for pride tomorrow. That's not something they've had a lot of in recent years, relegated last season and thoroughly underwhelming this campaign.

Nathan Jones is looking to build his legacy, bringing the successful Luton Town blueprint to the bet365 Stadium. They're current in 17th place, but are 11 points clear of safety and 12 adrift of the top six.

Whilst mediocrity awaits, they still need to turn in some big performances and in order to do just that, here's the XI we think they should play tomorrow.

They've been going with a 4-3-1-2 in recent weeks and there's little need to change that. Nathan Jones has to get a method clear in his side's mind, working out a way to play that's consistent and understandable.

They'll keep Jack Butland in goal, he's no business being in the Championship and is a safe pair of hands behind the back for. Whilst Moritz Bauer, Danny Batth and Bruno Indi are wise choices, he's also likely to keep midfielder Sam Clucas at full back.

In the middle of the field Stoke have an embarrassment of riches, a lop-sided squad means they boast several quality central players but not much in the wide areas. Ryan Woods and Joe Allen have to start, with us also selecting Peter Etebo to complete the trio.

Under normal circumstances, it would seem aggressive, but Ipswich can be dominated in the middle of the park and the side can kick on from there.

We've gone for Tom Ince behind the front two, with £12m man Benik Afobe a sure starter. He's not been as impressive as they had hoped, but if they can get the right player around him it will benefit his game. We've partnered him with Sam Vokes, their transfer window capture from Burnley.
