Ariel Borysiuk played only 12 games for Queens Park Rangers in the 2016/17 season, but where's he playing his football now?

Borysiuk, who has many Poland caps as he does appearances for QPR, joined the West Londoners from Legia Warsaw in June 2016.

He signed a three-year deal and fans were excited to see the central midfield player in action.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was the man who brought Borysiuk to QPR but he never fully utilised him - Borysiuk played a bit part role in his first half-season at QPR, and was never really given the chance to show what he was capable of.

The now 28-year-old came to the club with good pedigree - he'd played in the top domestic leagues in Germany, Russia and Poland before signing for QPR, and had played on the international stage with the likes of Robert Lewandowski.

Once the January transfer window opened in 2017, Borysiuk was one of the first names out of the door - he joined Lechia Gdansk on-loan and would make the move permanent in January 2018, having been unused in the first-half of the following 2017/18 season.

He was getting his career back on track and playing regular football with Gdansk in Poland but soon found himself struggling for first-team action, and sought a loan-move with Wisla Plock last season.

Today though, Borysiuk has again ventured out of his native Poland and is playing for Moldovan outfit Sheriff Tiraspol.

He's been a prominent figure for Tiraspol and even scored the equaliser in their final game of the season back in November - Tiraspol won the Moldovan Divizia Nationala with 17 points to spare.

A friendly face who was arguably mismanaged in West London - fans will be happy to know he's landed on his feet.
