Brentford have confirmed that Shaleum Logan is set to leave the club when his contract expires, along with Liam O’Brien, Farid El Alagui and Scott Barron.
Ex-Manchester City player Logan joined the Bees in 2011 and has made 103 appearances for the club, scoring five goals. The 26-year-old spent part of last season on loan at Aberdeen and it seems the move will be made permanent once his contract expires next month.
Manager Mark Warburton told the clubs official website: “I am delighted the loan worked out for Shaleum.
“The move was designed to give him playing time and it worked out well for both parties.
“Shaleum gave tremendous service to the club in his time here. All the staff and players wish him well at Aberdeen and all the best for the future.”
Striker Clayton Donaldson is another player out of contract but will be offered fresh terms by the club.
Warburton said: “We will be offering Clayton a contract.
“When we first spoke to him about a new contract earlier in the season he said he wanted to play in the Championship and ideally that would be with Brentford.
“I have spoken to him and conversations have been positive. I hope we can wrap up Clayton’s future quickly.”
