Over the years, there have been plenty of players who have pulled on the famous green shirts of Hibernian.

Some inevitably, will have made a much bigger impact at Easter Road than others, and will therefore be better remembered by the club's fanbase.

But how well do you remember some of those who did not make quite as significant an impact during their time in Edinburgh?

Here, we've taken a look at 11 players who you may not remember actually played for Hibernian at senior level, given their brief time with the club's first-team.

How many of these names do you recognise?

Having come through the youth setup at Hibernian, Grant would make just a single appearance for the club at senior level.

That would come on the final day of the 2011/12 league season in a 2-0 defeat to Inverness, with Grant spending time on loan with Berwick Rangers, before being released by Hibs at the end of the 2013/14 campaign.

Bigirimana joined Hibs from Motherwell on a short-term deal late in the 2019 January transfer window, although it was not a deal that would exactly work out.

The former Newcastle man made just a single appearance for Hibernian, as a second-half substitute in a defeat to Aberdeen days after his arrival, with the club electing not to extend his contract at Easter Road come the end of the season.

Having previously spent the 2016/17 season with Hearts, Rherras returned to Scottish football with Hibs when he joined on loan from Mechelen in January 2018.

However, the Moroccan made just a single appearance for Hibernian, as a substitute in a 2-1 win over Motherwell, with his loan deal not being made permanent at the end of that season.

Sinclair's time with Hibernian would bring about just a single first-team appearance for the Easter Road club.

That came as a late substitute in a 3-0 win over Montrose in the Scottish League Cup in January 2015, with the midfielder eventually leaving the club having failed to add to that tally in the summer of 2016.

Like the aforementioned Bigiriamana, Johnson joined Hibernian late in the 2019 January transfer window, moving on loan from Leicester.

However, the defender's first game for the club, a 2-0 defeat to Celtic, saw him earn a two-match ban for a challenge on Emilio Izaguirre, and Johnson would be unable to force his way back into the team, with that his only appearance for the club.

McLean joined Hibernian on a short-team contract in March 2017, with his deal set to run until the end of that season.

The former Motherwell and Dundee United man would make just two appearances for Hibs in a draw with Dunfermline and with over Raith, with the midfielder not handed a new contract at the end of the campaign.

Joining Hibernian following his release from Birmingham City in the summer of 2016 on a short-term deal, Eardley struggled to make an impact at Easter Road.

The right-back would make just two appearances for the Edinburgh based club, both coming from the bench, before leaving to join Northampton shortly before his contract with Hibs expired in January 2017.

Having joined Hibernian following a trial period with the club in October 2018, things never really worked out for Marias during his time in Edinburgh.

The former Sunderland man made just two senior appearances for Hibs before a hamstring injury condemned him to a spell on the sidelines, and he was released by the club when his contract expired that December.

Having joined Hibernian's youth system before the age of ten in 2002, Horribine eventually got his chance in Hibs' first-team in May 2013, as a substitute in a 3-1 win over Kilmarnock.

However, the striker would make just one more appearance for the club, coming off the bench in another win over Kilmarnock the following season, before being released from Easter Road in the summer of 2014.

Virtanen joined Hibernian from Finnish club IFK Mariehamn on a three-and-a-half-year deal in January 2016.

However, the goalkeeper struggled to establish himself between the posts at Easter Road, making just two appearances, which saw him concede after an individual error in a Europa League qualifier with Bronby, before Virtanen returned to Finland with KuPS just a year after joining Hibs in January 2017.

After spending almost ten years in Hibernian's academy, Crane made his first senior appearance for the club in February 2017, in a Challenge Cup match with Turriff United.

His only league appearance for the club would also come that month, as a substitute in a 2-2 draw with Dunfermline, and after spending the 2017-18 on loan with Alloa, Crane was released by Hibs in the summer of 2018.
