The battle to win promotion to the Premier League looks like it's finally heading towards a conclusion, with Norwich and Sheffield United looking like the most likely teams to win promotion.

Daniel Farke's side have been hugely impressive this season and have hardly put a foot wrong in their quest to return to the top-flight.

The Canaries have been pushed all the way for promotion though, with Leeds challenging them for the majority of this year's campaign.

Two players in particular have stood out for both teams this season, and it's fair to say they'd be struggling without them.

In our latest FLW Duels, we're going to look at the statistics of Norwich's Emi Buendia and Leeds' Pablo Hernandez in more detail.

In terms of contributions towards goals for their respective sides this season, Hernandez is in a class of his own in the Championship this season.

The Spaniard has 12 goals and 12 assists to his name in their league campaign, whereas Buendia has eight goals and 11 assists in an impressive debut season with the Canaries.

But one statistic that Buendia comes out on top in is the number of key dribbles he attempts per game with 1.4, compared to Hernandez's 1.1 per game.

Hernandez attempts more shots per game though, averaging almost three, compared to Buendia's 1.8, which shows that the Spaniard certainly isn't lacking in confidence.

The Leeds playmaker has played one game more than Buendia but his statistics speak for themselves and he's one of the deadliest attacking midfielders in the Championship by some distance.

If Leeds had someone to finish off the chances he creates, then you'd find it hard to believe that Marcelo Bielsa's side wouldn't win promotion back into the Premier League this season.

Buendia has played a key role in Norwich's success though, whereas Hernandez has had to carry Leeds at times this season, which might explain why his statistics look better compared to Buendia's.
