Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill his named 23-man squad for the 2016 European Championships, which features 11 players from the Sky Bet Football League, BBC Sport has confirmed.

The nation qualified for the Euros by coming top of Group F, beating the likes of Romania, Hungary and Greece to make it to their first ever European Championships and first major tournament since the 1986 World Cup in Mexico.

O'Neill selected his 23-men to face Ukraine, Poland and world champions Germany, including six Premier League players and 11 from the Football League.

Luke McCullough of Doncaster Rovers, Conor McLaughlin of Fleetwood Town, MK Dons's Lee Hodson and Chris Baird of Derby County joins former Brighton & Hove Albion, Fulham and QPR defender Aaron Hughes as the defenders in the squad.

Oliver Norwood (Reading), Corry Evans (Blackburn Rovers), Stuart Dallas (Leeds United), Jamie Ward (Nottingham Forest) and Shane Ferguson (Millwall) are the Football League's representatives in midfield, while Conor Washington (QPR) and Will Grigg (Wigan Athletic) are up front.

O'Neill's men take on Poland in their first match on June 12, before facing Ukraine on June 17. Their final group match is against World Champions Germany on June 21.
