Bubbling away at Elland Road is the fallout from last month’s badge fiasco, which for all the wrong reasons got the world of football talking about Leeds United once again.

Leeds revealed a new club crest last month – a silhouette of a supporter doing the ‘Leeds salute’ that was widely criticised by the club’s supporters and mocked worldwide.

Andrea Radrizzani and the club’s board members backtracked and agreed to redesign, allowing supporters to pitch their designs to the club, before Season Ticket Holders and Members make the final call on what Leeds’ new crest should be.

Radrizzani has this morning delivered an update on the hunt for a new badge, sharing a post on Instagram confirming that Leeds had received over 1,200 designs, with the attached picture showing the designs pitched from the club’s younger generation of supporters.
