Andre Green is impressing on-loan at Charlton Athletic.

The 21-year-old played just four Championship games on-loan at Preston in the first-half of the season, and after being recalled by Villa and subsequently loaned to Charlton, he's already played the same amount in the league for Lee Bowyer's side, scoring twice.

His goal against Barnsley on Saturday, which proved to be the winner, was an emphatic one. He paired Lyle Taylor up-front and the Addicks seem to have a new strike partnership on their hands, with Taylor netting against Barnsley as well.

His deal at The Valley will expire at the end of the season, but should Bowyer look to make his move permanent?

Green is certainly turning heads - pacey, prolific and an overall good team player, he's certainly making a case for his permanent signing - Villa will likely keep him in mind though with their Premier League status on the rocks, and at 21-years-old he'll likely cost a pretty penny.

Here's what Charlton fans of the Facebook group 'Charlton Athletic FC (The unofficial & uncensored Charlton Fans Group)' had to say on the possibility of signing Green on a permanent basis:

Tim Sully: I like his attitude, I like his stamina and I like that he clearly is enjoying being a part of 'us'. If we get things in a sort of equilibrium and he wants to stay, it will make things all the more sweeter.

Callum Stearns: Early days, too soon to think of a permanent signing.

Matthew Lea: Would be a very good signing but I think Villa will get relegated and they will sign him on.

Dave Mead: Let's not jump the gun early days yet.

Jack Bennett: Out-of-contract at the end of the season so not impossible, depends if Villa stay up though really.

Daniel Smith: Yes 100% I would have him here permanent.

Dean Banks: Good, hard working player. Him and Taylor will be a good front-two.
