Reading came back from a goal down to draw with Swansea on Saturday, which stopped a run of three straight losses in the league.

It was a surprise man that was able to score the goal as right-back Andy Yiadom popped up at the right end of the pitch to smash home with just minutes left to play.

The Ghanian has been excellent this season, and to be honest, since he joined the Royals. He's been in great form and has replaced Chris Gunter as the first choice right-back over the last season and a bit.

On Saturday, he showed all of the qualities that make him one of Reading's best players. He is adaptable to formations, athletic and full of energy at all times of games, you can also see his leadership qualities shine when the team is in need of someone to stand up and be counted for.

At the Liberty Stadium he was outstanding, first at right-wing back, and then just at right-back. What makes Yiadom such a good performer, is the fact that he's able to continue to do this on a consistent basis.

He attained a pass accuracy of 92% which is very high for a player in his position, and in the Championship. Alongside that, it wasn't just his passing that caught the eye, the player was successful in 100% of his dribbles which is tremendous for someone who is setup to play in a defensive position.

It's not a stat where the percentage makes it look better either, he completed six out of six dribbles.

Alongside his attributes going forward, he recorded six interceptions and won 75% of his defensive duels which shows his prowess at both ends of the pitch.

The stats aren't available, but you would imagine that he is one of the fittest players in Reading's squad and that would have to be a factor in his ability to be so successful in the key areas of the pitch.

Of course, Yiadom topped the performance off with a brilliant goal that he scored with just added time remaining. Something that his game doesn't have or particular needs is goals, but his rare strike will be one I'm sure that he'll remember for a few weeks.

Reading take on Fulham on Tuesday night, and he'll be hoping to help get the Royals a crucial victory as they fight for a more successful season than last time round.
