QPR secured an impressive 3-1 win at Aston Villa last night that saw them extend their unbeaten run to three games and may give them hope of finishing in the top-half.

That would be a remarkable achievement for the R’s given the well-documented financial troubles that they are facing.

Ian Holloway didn’t sign one player in the January window but has moulded a squad that is young, hungry and desperate to play for the club.

However, he will know the importance of adding to that squad in the summer but won't alter his approach to the market.

The former Blackpool boss will look to the lower leagues to find a few gems and one player who would fit the bill is Scunthorpe’s Josh Morris.

The 26-year old midfielder has proven himself to be a top player in the third tier over the past few years, hitting 19 goals in the previous campaign whilst he already has double figures this season.

That goal threat would be very welcome for QPR who only have two players that have scored more than five in the Championship this season, despite playing 37 games.

As well as that, the left-sided player has a great work ethic and will be determined to prove himself at a higher level having spent the majority of his career in the lower leagues.

Holloway has proven he has an eye for a player in the past and Morris could be the latest one to develop under his guidance.
