There’s a key fixture at Loftus Road tomorrow afternoon, with Birmingham City taking on Queens Park Rangers in the Sky Bet Championship.

Ian Holloway’s QPR have very little to play for, with a mid-table finish inevitable. However, Birmingham head to the capital looking for the points to guarantee their safety after another season threatened by relegation.

Here at FLW, we take a look at two players who could make a huge difference at Loftus Road – Matt Smith and Lukas Jutkiewicz.

The duo are expected to lead the line for QPR and Birmingham respectively, and we’ve taken a look at their head-to-head.

Smith has 10 goals from his 39 QPR appearances this season, whilst Jutkiewicz has found the back of the net on just four occasions in his 33 Birmingham appearances.

28-year-old Smith has had a hand in nine other goals, whilst his counterpart has registered just a single assist.

The towering QPR forward wins more aerial duels on average and is clearly the bigger goal threat, which is further reflected in the 2.4 average shots he has per game.

Jutkiewicz, 29, might be behind Smith in the creative department but he certainly betters his opponent in other areas.

The Birmingham forward averages 0.5 key passes per game as well as 0.2 dribbles, which trumps Smith, alongside recording a better pass success rate.

Who is the better striker… Smith or Jutkiewicz? Let us know your thoughts!
