Nottingham Forest showed that they are more than capable of digging in at the weekend as they drew 0-0 with Burton Albion.

Though many Reds fans would have wanted to see more from their side, the men from the City Ground certainly needed to adapt and reassess their aims after Eric Lichaj was sent off.

Getting a draw, then, could prove vital come the end of the season and many were impressed with our latest FLW Spotlight subject - Ben Watson.

Watson only signed recently for Forest as Aitor Karanka looked for more steel in midfield but he has quickly made himself an integral part with the armband being handed to him for the weekend just gone.

Certainly, he looks as though he is going to be a key part of Forest's side but his stats perhaps paint a picture in stark contrast.

He was, of course, a leader on the field at the weekend as he rallied and organised - much to the joy of Forest fans - but it is interesting that despite his ten clearances and two aerials won, he made no tackles.

Watson, of course, is in the side for a number of reasons but breaking up play is one of the main ones and it looks as though he did so more with fouls rather than clean challenges.

Let's not knock his performance, of course, he did a good job, but there is clearly areas he will want to improve and surely will once his match-fitness increases.
