Manchester United are one of the world's global powerhouses when it comes to snapping up any player within their price range, and now they have eyed up one of the Championship's rising stars.

On the verge of a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer, 19-year-old forward Danny Loader is now a target of Ole Gunnar Solskjer's Manchester United as they eye up another young talent from the English shores who could fit in to the grand scheme of things at Old Trafford.

Here, we take a look at one winner and one loser from the deal if the Premier League giants manage to land their man...

Winner - Ben House

Currently out on loan with National League side Dagenham & Redbridge until January, striker House could be the player that benefits from Loader's departure from Reading the most.

The 20-year-old, who also spent part of last season on loan at Swindon Town as he made six appearances for the League Two side, was able to net two goals on his debut for the Daggers at the weekend following his loan move.

House is a highly rated prospect at The Madejski Stadium and he could be the man that takes up Loader's space within the first-team squad if they don't sign a replacement for the young forward.

The striker has the right tools and attributes to make it at Reading despite having never made a first-team appearance for them, and he will be interested to see how things pan out over Loader's departure.

Loser - Mason Greenwood

The loser out of the possible Loader deal could be current Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood, who is one of the backup options for the Red Devils this season.

The 18-year-old has scored three goals in 17 appearances for the top flight side, but his place will be under threat if Loader arrives at Old Trafford soon.

The English youth international won't be used to the added competition of being backup striker for one of the world's biggest clubs, and Loader will bring the attitude of pushing Greenwood for a space in the matchday squad if Solskjaer decides to pursue his interest in the forward.

Greenwood is a talented prospect and somebody that United rate highly as one of their own youth products, but with two young strikers vying for one spot within the matchday squad at Old Trafford, the 18-year-old will need to fight for his place.
