Millwall are reportedly interested in bringing in Stoke City midfielder Ryan Woods during the January transfer window.

TeamTalk reported the news on Thursday with Gary Rowett keen to link-up with the 26-year-old again having originally brought Woods to the Bet365 Stadium during his tenure at the club.

He has only played eight times for the Potters so far this season so a move during the January window is certainly not out of the question at all.

So here we look at one winner and one loser at The Den if he were to arrive at the club...

Tom Bradshaw

There is no doubt that it is the attacking players who stand to gain the most from the arrival of Woods.

The 26-year-old's biggest strength is his passing ability and how he can keep a game ticking over nicely, something that will prove hugely condusive to the Lions' attacking play.

And Bradshaw is the man who stands to gain the most of all the attacking players. The striker has been the most productive but has fallen off slightly in recent weeks. The addition of a creative force in midfield could be just what is needed to bring him back to his best.

Ryan Leonard

The midfielder has tumbled down the pecking order since picking up a long-term injury back in October so the arrival of another one will not do him any good.

Woods will not want to come to Millwall unless there is a high chance of him playing regular first-team football, which will Leonard with plenty to do in order to get back into the starting XI.
