Jack Ross continued his impressive start to life in English football as the Black Cats’ extended their unbeaten start to the season with a 2-1 win against AFC Wimbledon.
Experienced midfielder Lee Cattermole was the hero this time around scoring not one rare goal but two rare goals to bring his side back from behind at Kingsmeadow.
Joe Pigott gave the hosts the lead in the ninth minute and it looked as though they could take all three points, defending resolutely but not sitting back against their heavily fancied opponents.
But Cattermole prodded home a scrappy equaliser on the 66th minute before volleying home sweetly on the 83rd to steal all three points from the Wombles.
So who was the big winner and who lost out in this match?
