Nottingham Forest continued their unbeaten start to the Championship season on Saturday evening as they came from 2-0 down to draw with Birmingham City at the City Ground.

It was a result that left everyone at the club feeling underwhelmed again, however, as Forest put themselves in a difficult position and failed to come away with all three points in a match they should be winning.

Lukasz Jutkiewicz gave Blues the lead 21 minutes into the match, brilliantly heading home Jacques Maghoma's cross past the despairing Costel Pantillimon.

Che Adams doubled the visitor's lead before Joe Lolley emphatically pulled one back a few minutes later after coming off the bench moments earlier.

Lolley's shot led to the eventual equaliser as well as Daryl Murphy tapped home after Lee Camp could not handle the winger's long range drive.

But who came out of this tie as the winner and who was the loser among the players?

The big winner from this fixture was undoubtedly Joe Lolley, despite him only playing 25 minutes of the match.

But the fact is that the 26-year-old changed the game and mirrored the impact that Matty Cash had had in earlier games, again proving what the Forest squad of last season had to offer.

A stunning hit with his first touch of the ball set the tone for a blistering cameo and it would be a big surprise if he was not starting the next match.

The biggest loser also came from the Forest ranks and in the form of club captain Ben Watson.

You would be hard pressed to find a more popular substitution this weekend than Watson being withdrawn for Ben Osborn on the 67th minute.

The former FA Cup winner had a torrid afternoon and was a bit of a shambles in midfield. It would a real shock if he started their next match.
