Leeds United are in a great position as they look to return to the Premier League and the club are already identifying targets ahead of next season.

And, according to TEAMtalk, Everton winger Yannick Bolasie is one man the Whites are considering moving for providing they do go up.

The skilful winger is currently on loan at Anderlecht after cutting short a spell at Aston Villa earlier in January.

His spell at Villa Park was very underwhelming - as our graphic shows, with Bolasie scoring just twice in 21 Championship games.

As well as that, he managed just four assists and even though his dribbling and key passes return is decent, it's nothing spectacular.

When you consider that Leeds are interested in the 29-year-old for the top-flight, this has to be a real concern.

It suggests that Bolasie may not be able to cut it at that level any more and you also have to take into account that he will be demanding a very big wage for a newly-promoted side.

Reports emerged after he left Villa suggesting he is on a £70,000 a week deal at Goodison Park which would presumably make him a top earner for the Yorkshire outfit.

Few would argue that Marcelo Bielsa would need to sign a winger if they do win promotion, so fans will be pleased to see that Leeds are looking to strengthen that area.

However, even though he clearly has quality, Leeds should be looking for better than Bolasie if they are to make an impact in the Premier League.
