Norwich City will be looking to maintain a push for a top-six finish in the Championship when the season resumes next month.

The Canaries suffered a disappointing defeat at the hands of Middlesbrough before the current international break and are set to take on Swansea City on December 10th,

Currently fifth in the league standings, Norwich could bolster their chances of securing a return to the Premier League in 2023 by securing the services of some fresh faces in the January transfer window.

Canaries boss Dean Smith may also opt to sanction departures for some of the existing members of his squad.

Here, we have decided to take a look at two ins and two outs we could see at Norwich in January...

In: Bali Mumba returns from his loan spell at Plymouth

Loaned out to Plymouth Argyle by Norwich earlier this year, Bali Mumba has set the third-tier alight with his impressive performances this season.

As well as delivering the goods in a defensive sense, the full-back has also managed to provide 11 direct goal contributions in 18 league appearances and is currently averaging an impressive WhoScored match rating of 7.15 at this level.

Mumba may now be ready to feature week-in, week-out for Norwich after recently making considerable strides in terms of his development and thus it wouldn't be at all surprising if he is recalled in the New Year.

Out: Adam Idah leaves on loan

A report from The Sun earlier this month suggested that Norwich could be open to the possibility of sanctioning a temporary exit for Adam Idah.

With Derby County manager Paul Warne understood to be a fan of Idah, a switch to Pride Park may potentially be on the cards.

The forward has only featured on two occasions for Norwich this season and is currently being forced to watch on from the sidelines due to an issue with his knee.

Out: Marcelino Nunez joins Sevilla

This aforementioned report from The Sun also suggested that Marcelino Nunez is being tracked by Spanish side Sevilla ahead of the January window.

Nunez joined Norwich earlier this year and has featured on 19 occasions for the club in the Championship during the current campaign.

When you consider that the 22-year-old's current contract at Carrow Road is set to run until 2026, Sevilla will have to submit a huge offer to test Norwich's resolve.

Out: Milot Rashica joins Galatasaray on permanent deal

A report from Nezvat Dindar (as cited by The Pink Un) earlier this month suggested that Galatasaray were interested in turning Milot Rashica's loan spell into a permanent deal.

It is understood that the Turkish outfit are willing to spend €5.5m (£4.75m) in order to finalise a move in the January window.

Rashica has scored two goals and has provided two assists for Galatasaray in the eight games that he has participated in this season.
