Derby County pulled off a major shock in the world of football on Tuesday night, after beating Manchester United on penalties at Old Trafford.

The Rams put in an absolutely magnificent performance, after coming back from 1-0 down to lead 2-1 in the dying embers of the game, through strikes from Harry Wilson and Jack Marriott.

Wilson’s goal, in fact, has made worldwide news, after netting what was truly a sensational free-kick to initially equalise for the Rams, and here, he is the man that we will be focusing on in this FLW Spotlight.

The Liverpool loanee would have loved scoring at Old Trafford, and what a goal it was - it rounded off what was a magnificent night for the East Midlands side, who limited Mourinho’s Red Devils to just three shots on target all game.

The commentator's words were that "it's surely too far out to have a shot here" - but what happened next shocked the nation, as Wilson netted his second Derby goal in a week after scoring against Brentford on Saturday afternoon.

21-year old Wilson endured a magnificent loan spell on loan at Hull City last term, where he boasted a goal ratio of a goal every 2 games, after netting 7 times in 14 appearances for the Tigers.

If it wasn't for his goals, Hull may have even dropped out of the division after coming mightily close to relegation, with Wilson, by far their standout performer.

The Welsh international has scored twice in his four Derby starts this season, and looks to be an integral player for the Rams in their hunt for promotion this season.
