Queens Park Rangers lost 2-1 at Blackburn Rovers in the Championship last night.

The R's succumbed to their fourth-straight away defeat last night, thanks to goals from Adam Armstrong and Darragh Lenihan for the home side.

Jordan Hugill had put QPR level with his 9th Championship goal of the season, but the score was settled when Lenihan headed home the winner on the half-hour mark.

It wasn't a terrible performance from the R's - they had more than enough chances to take at least a point back down to West London, but again it was two lapses in concentration which gave Rovers two chances, and two goals.

One man who worked hard last night, but ultimately struggled to make much happen was Ilias Chair. The 22-year-old was at hand to assist Hugill for the goal - his 5th assist of the season.

Here's his stats from last night's game at Ewood Park:

Chair managed to make a good amount of passes. He's made that no.10 role behind the striker his with some fine performances of late, and he had the odd glimpse of his best self last night.

But ultimately, Blackburn marked him out of the game. It was the same story for Ebere Eze - he was marked out of the game way too easily, and it was another quiet one for him.

Chair though did well to get his assist. He posed a threat all evening but there was a lingering sense that, without Nahki Wells, QPR just aren't as good.

Wells was a much more pacey, finesse-type player than Hugill. He linked well with the likes of Chair, Eze and Bright Osayi-Samuel behind him but Hugill is more of a target man, and needs a lot more service to be as effective.

QPR now find themselves in 14th-place of the Championship table - 12 points above the drop zone and nine off the top-six. They host 6th-place Bristol City at the weekend, and Lee Johnson's side will be looking to build on their good form, and take advantage of a defensively-weak QPR side.
