New QPR manager Steve McClaren will look to add to his squad in the coming months in order to build a squad that could be one of the surprise packages in the Championship next season.

The former Derby boss has inherited a team that boasts a lot of exciting, talented youngster and keeping them at Loftus Road will be the first priority this summer.

However, as McClaren has acknowledged, he will need to support them by bringing in more experienced players in the market, creating a more balanced squad in the process.

And, one man who could fit the bill is Leeds United's Eunan O'Kane.

Whilst he is only 27-years old he has still played a lot of games in the Championship over the years and more importantly has experience of winning in this league.

The Irish international was part of the Bournemouth squad that won promotion to the top-flight three years ago and that could be crucial in an R's squad that doesn't have many players with promotion to the Premier League on their record.

His time at Leeds hasn't really gone to plan and the Whites fans wouldn't be disappointed at all to see him leave, however our graphic shows that O'Kane has done some good things at Elland Road.

With a good understanding of the game, he can intercept well, make tackles and keep it simple with his passing.

Whilst Leeds need a more dynamic midfielder, QPR already have the likes of Massimo Luongo, Luke Freeman and Josh Scowen in the team, so O'Kane's understated qualities could be exactly what they need to become a better team.
