1.8 dribbles per game: The explosive winger that could improve Sunderland going forward

Jack Ross is going to make major changes to his Sunderland squad as he looks to build a side capable of winning an immediate return to the Championship.

The former St. Mirren boss will be told to cut the wage bill dramatically and whilst he will be given funds to bring new players in, he will have to be clever with his recruitment.

That could mean he looks to the loan market and one exciting addition would be West Brom winger Jonathan Leko.

The youngster was sent out to Bristol City on a short-term temporary spell last season, although it didn’t really go to plan as our graphic shows.

Leko made 11 appearances, with many of those involving him either coming off early or as a substitute so it isn’t a really fair representation of his ability.

However, he did show in his time at Ashton Gate and at Albion that he does have serious potential. The youngster has great pace, real power and skill to beat players.

That’s highlighted in his 1.8 dribbles per game which shows exactly the threat he offers and that’s what Sunderland need to add to their side.

They are lacking a real quality winger in the squad and he has the potential to be a real star in League One, whilst Albion would be happy for their player to get regular games at a club like Sunderland, so it’s a deal that would suit all parties.
