Ipswich Town defender Jonas Knudsen is a man in-demand this month, with Stoke City and Middlesbrough both keen on the Danish international.

That's according to Football Insider, who claim both Championship sides are keen on doing a deal for the 26-year-old this month.

Knudsen should be available for a knock-down price too, with his contract at Portman Road set to expire in the summer and the Tractor Boys keen to cash in on him whilst they can.

And, as our graphic shows, he would be a solid addition to both clubs.

Firstly, you have to take into account that the former Esbjerg man is playing with a side that have been stuck near the bottom all season.

Yet, despite that, he still has some decent numbers that highlight what a solid defender he is.

The 3.5 average clearances per game, 1.7 average tackles per game and the four average aerial duels won prove that he is old-school in the sense that he is a full-back who puts defending first.

That leads on to the one concern about the player though, which is his ability going forward, with his pass success rate showing that he is often wasteful in possession.

But, that shouldn't take away from what a smart bit of business this would be for either the Potters or Boro, who both need an additional option at left-back.

It seems inevitable that Knudsen will move this month and landing the player could help either side have a strong end to the season that they really need.
