Sergi Canos is a player who continues to divide opinion in the Sky Bet Championship, with the Brentford winger far from prolific over the course of his career at Griffin Park.

Brentford currently sit 11th in the Championship table, knowing it will take a huge effort if they are to work their way back into play-off contention over the course of the next nine fixtures.

Canos has been one member of Dean Smith’s squad he would’ve expected more from, after Brentford fought to re-sign the winger from Norwich City last January.

Here at FLW, we take a look at the former Liverpool flyer in our latest spotlight:

So far this season the 21-year-old has featured on 22 occasions for Brentford in the Championship, with those appearances bringing just a single goal and two further assists.

Canos has averaged just 1.7 dribbles per game, whilst he has also been sloppy in possession, with a pass success rate of 68%.

Defensively has been where Canos has been most impressive in his 22 appearances, with the winger winning 83% of the tackles he has attempted.

Brentford and Norwich fans… What have you made of Canos’ performance this season? Did Norwich do well to offload him? Let us know your thoughts!
