Leeds United’s goalkeeping issues have been part of their downfall in the Sky Bet Championship this season, with the Whites forced to use three different goalkeepers over the course of the campaign.

Felix Wiedwald and Andy Lonergan, Leeds’ two senior options, have failed to nail down the No. 1 spot during their respective spells in the first-team, with Bailey Peacock-Farrell now the man in possession of the goalkeeping jersey ahead of the run-in.

Despite Peacock-Farrell impressing, the likelihood is we will see Paul Heckingbottom move for a more senior goalkeeper in the summer, with David Stockdale someone who Leeds’ supporters have longed to see at Elland Road.

Stockdale is Birmingham City’s current first choice, and in FLW’s latest spotlight, we take a look at the 32-year-old’s season so far:

The Leeds-born goalkeeper has featured on 28 occasions for the Blues this season, conceding on 42 occasions, as his side struggle in the Championship’s relegation zone.

In those 28 appearances, Stockdale has managed four clean sheets for the Blues, giving him a clean sheet percentage of just 14.3.

The former promotion winner makes 1.61 saves per goal, with his distribution accuracy at an average 49%.
