Graham Potter is set to be named as the new Swansea boss with the Championship offering the 43-year old his first managerial job in the English leagues.

He has done a marvellous job in Sweden with Ostersunds, taking them to the Swedish top-flight, a cup win and a superb Europa League campaign.

That will leave Swansea fans excited about what the future holds, with Potter known for playing exciting, attacking football as the Welsh club try and replicate their stylish approach from years ago.

However, he will have a big job on his hands with several players sure to leave the Liberty Stadium after the Swans relegation, although he will be backed in the market as he looks to create a side that can compete for promotion.

Here we look at three potential signings that could make them contenders...

The reality is that Lukas Fabianski will be off this summer and a new keeper will be a priority for Potter.

And, he could do a lot worse than Liverpool stopper Ward. He has won promotion from the Championship before and is a quality player at this level.

Swansea need a new midfielder to dictate play if they are to change their style and Brentford's Woods is arguably the best at that in the Championship.

The Bees have sold their best players over the years so Potter could surely do a deal for a player who could be integral to his side.

It's inevitable that Potter will get linked to his former players and one Ostersunds man they ought to sign is forward Ghoddos.

He has real quality, a good all-round game and would score and assist goals in the Championship.

He has been linked with bigger clubs in the past but Potter could convince him to go to Wales.
