Things are heating up in the Sky Bet Championship’s automatic promotion race, with Derby County amongst the sides looking to compete for a direct route to the Premier League.

Gary Rowett’s side currently sit fifth in the table, and have fallen seven points behind second, having failed to record a victory in their last five Championship fixtures.

The Rams are winless since the start of February, with Rowett’s side failing to build on an impressive end to 2017 and an equally impressive start to 2018.

In January, Rowett made one standout addition to his squad, with Cameron Jerome arriving at Pride Park from Norwich City, bringing a wealth of Championship experience along with him.

Here at FLW, we take a look at the striker’s impact since his move to Derby:

Jerome has made eight appearances for the Rams, managing to score just one goal during that time.

The 31-year-old is averaging 1.4 shots per game, as well as winning 2.5 aerial duels on average – as you would expect from the powerful striker.

In possession, Jerome’s numbers are a little disappointing, with the experienced striker averaging a pass success rate of just 58.4%.

In addition to those numbers, the striker has picked up two yellow cards in those eight appearances.
