Blackburn look set for a swift return to the Championship, whilst Bradford have stumbled after a promising start.

All is not lost for the Bantams though, they're only four points outside the top six and do have games in hand which might propel them back where they feel they belong.

Simon Grayson will be looking to rebuild in the summer, if he chooses to stay beyond his short term deal, but he won't have a huge overhaul on his hands. The components of a good side are in place, they're just not quite the finished article.

Blackburn, on the other hand, are more or less as good as it gets in League One. There might be some who would pick an almost entire-Rovers side for this feature, but that wouldn't do justice to some talented footballers at Valley Parade.

Enough of the talking, here is the FLW combined XI from Blackburn and Bradford. Let us know in the comments if you agree.

Raya joined the Blackburn academy from Spain and has steadily emerged as the club's number one keeper.

At just 22 he still has a huge amount of potential and the Championship will be an eye-catching stage.

Kilgallon is a seasoned campaigner and someone with huge resources of energy and experience.

He's 34 now but has played for both of the sides and would help integrate a collective XI nicely.

Mulgrew is a versatile Scottish international who has also been at Celtic.

He's Championship quality and will have the right level of football next season, no doubt.

This guy went to a World Cup eight years ago, although he didn't get a kick of the ball.

He's another who has played for both and would feel at ease in a mixed squad.

Bradford City's captain would have to get the nod in midfield.

The 32-year old Frenchman has had a stellar season for the Bantams despite their stuttering form.

The 32-year old will play on one flank in our 3-4-3 formation, offering some width an attacking prowess.

He's vice captain at Ewood Park and previous played over 150 times for Dundee

There's no option not to include Dack, he's an all-action midfielder with a range of attributes that has alerted clubs from much higher up the leagues.

Expect him to move on in the summer for an eight-figure price tag.

Former Rangers player Law makes up the four-man midfield and hopefully he could work well with Mulgrew, the former Celtic player.

Law is another with plenty of experience and would complete an awesome looking midfield four.

We had to pick three forwards, because we could decide which of these to leave out. 32-year old Graham has 144 career goals and wll always be a threat.

He's best known for his spell at Watford, but he's been rolling back the years in the North West to aid the promotion push.

£1.35m-rated Armstrong couldn't do it at Bolton, but he's simply too good for League One. Two years ago, he smashed them in for Coventry, now he's linked up with Tony Mowbray again he's proving just as deadly.

How long will Newcastle keep loaning him out for?

We couldn't leave out Wyke, one of the leading lights of the Bantams season.

He's a former Carlisle striker with a real eye for goal and perhaps he's the one keeping Bradford in touch with the top six.
