The Championship is back this weekend and there's a couple of seriously big games to look forward to.

Indeed, there is a pair of derbies to take in with Aston Villa travelling to Wolves on Saturday and Sunday seeing the biggest game of the Championship weekend take place at Pride Park.

Nottingham Forest will be on their way to Derby County for the East Midlands Derby and it is more than likely that there'll be a few tasty challenges and big battles all over the pitch.

Here at Football League World we've been thinking about the most important battle that could decide the game, then, and we think it'll come between Matej Vydra and Liam Bridcutt.

When Derby have won games this season, it's usually been because Vydra has been on song and fired them to the three points.

Rated at £4.5m by transfermarkt, he's been the Rams' best player this season and it's going to be down to Bridcutt to try and keep him quiet.

Mark Warburton signed the holding midfielder from Leeds in the summer with this purpose in mind.

Rated at £1.35 by transfermarkt, he might not be worth as much as Vydra but he could prove that wrong at the weekend if he keeps the Czech quiet.

Bridcutt also has the duty to get the ball and help kick-start Forest attacks and, if he can do that, we'll be looking at a Reds win.

If Vydra can buzz around him and not give him a moment, as well as wriggle free when the Rams are in possession, though, it'll be a home win come full-time.
