A win in this game could secure survival so it’s certainly important for the R’s.

QPR are 16 points in front of Barnsley, with 50 points, who are in 22nd place, so a win for QPR with Barnsley losing to local rivals Sheffield United would assure survival.

However, a total of 51 points saw Blackburn Rovers relegated last season, so they should only need a couple of points, regardless.

Hull have improved significantly since Nigel Adkins came in and they appear to be finishing the season relatively comfortably, but they are winless in the last three.

QPR are coming in to this match fresh from a 4-1 victory over Norwich, so they should be able to use that confidence flowing through them in this game.
