Nottingham Forest took a big step towards the play-off places in the Championship at the weekend as they beat Hull City 3-2 in very entertaining game at the KCOM Stadium.

It did promise to be an open game with both sides better at attacking than defending and it was Forest who won the gun-fight as Kieran Dowell put in a fine performance to grab a hat-trick and seal the victory. For sure, it was another game that highlighted what Forest can do when they get things hooked up and so they're looking to keep that going against an out-of-sorts Reading team.

The Reds, then, will feel as though they can do something against the men from the Madejski but they will have to be better defensively. They could just get a boost though with Armand Traore having a great chance to start the game after a recent injury and we'd bring him back into the team.

The £1.13m-rated full-back has got plenty of quality and will get back into the side sooner rather or later, but we think he should be brought back into the side at the expense of Eric Lichaj. The fan-favourite has come back into the side in recent weeks and has been fairly solid but we think he might just get dropped for this game.

With that in mind, then, here is the XI we would expect to take to the field:

An unchanged side otherwise for Forest, then, and we're looking forward to seeing how they and Reading get on tomorrow night.
