Preston have had a superb start to the season, with Alex Neil's side currently fifth in the Championship and unbeaten in four games.

North End have been dark horses for the past few years now, although a terrible start last time out left them with too much to do.

Therefore, Neil will have been emphasising the importance of picking up some early wins to his players and so far they have delivered, with the side looking balanced and key individuals performing well.

Despite the overall positivity surrounding the club, there are a few slight concerns and one of those will be the form of loan signing Andre Green - as our graphic shows.

The attacker joined from Aston Villa in the summer and arrived with a big reputation after playing a part in their promotion just a matter of months ago.

Yet, things just haven't worked out for the 21-year-old at Deepdale right now and he has failed to start for his new club, with his 110 minutes on the pitch all coming as a sub.

Of course, that has to be taken into consideration when you look at the rest of his stats, however it's not ideal that he is still to score or register an assist for Preston.

Again, it's not a huge worry because he has played just over one game but the fact he hasn't played more often suggests that he isn't doing enough in training to impress.

And, if you do find yourself on the fringes, you need to take any opportunities that come your way. That means, even in his limited time on the pitch, Green needs to be doing more.

Perhaps the most worrying stat from his start is that he has had just one touch in the opposition box.

Capable of playing down either flank or up top, the youngster needs to be making runs that see him get into threatening positions where he can score goals.

It's not all bad with Green though. His four progressive runs highlight a clear quality in his game and his direct approach could be very useful to the side moving forward as that will allow them to transition quickly and take the game to sides.

Ultimately though, it's been a slow start for the Villa man and if he has ambitions of forcing himself into Dean Smith's plans moving forward, then Green needs to establish himself as a key player for Preston.
