Wolverhampton Wanderers pulled off one of the biggest shocks during the FA Cup Third Round, with Paul Lambert’s men securing a 2-0 win at Premier League outfit Stoke City.

Lambert had his cynics when he first took over at the West Midlands-based club earlier in the season, but results such as the ones on Saturday will go a long way to winning round some of the more sceptical supporters.

Wolves are currently 16th in the Sky Bet Championship and with 21 games left of the 2016/17 campaign, Lambert will hope to try and push towards the top half of the league over the next few months.

In order to achieve his ambitions the new Wolves boss could look to raid the transfer market and sign a few new additions in order to bolster his crop of players.

Football League World writer Lee Clarke takes a look at two players who should be seriously considered by Lambert over the next few weeks.
