Nottingham Forest have had their fair share of memorable games in recent years, and Tuesday marks the day of just one of those.

On this day in 2012, the Reds ran out comfortable 3-0 winners over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in the Championship, much to the delight of the travelling supporters.

The star man for Forest on the day was Radosław Majewski who netted a stunning hat-trick to see the Reds take all three points back to the City Ground.

Majewski hit six goals in total in the 2011/12 season, and went on to make a total of 162 appearances in his time with the club.

The midfielder left Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2015, after his contract expired at the City Ground. Majewski is now playing his football in Australia with Western Sydney Wanderers.

But it's safe to say that he remains a fan favourite with the club's supporters, as plenty of them took to Instagram to issue high-praise for the 33-year-old after his memorable hat-trick against Crystal Palace.
