Brentford Head Coach Thomas Frank has stated his players' recent performances will attract interest from elsewhere, but also said he is confident they will remain at the club.

The Bees sit in 3rd place in the Championship, and have proved to be one of the best attacking sides in the division.

Brentford's displays has led to speculation around the futures of a few key players, such as Ollie Watkins and Said Benrahma, who have scored 23 goals and assisted 8 more between them this season.

Speaking to the club website ahead of Saturday's trip to Yorkshire to face Huddersfield Town, Thomas Frank said that it's normal that his players are attracting attention because of the success that they are having on the pitch.

QUIZ: Can you name these 18 ex-Brentford players?

"We have some really good players who are performing which makes for interest from the media," the 46-year-old said.

The Dane also made it clear that he does not see players leaving any time soon.

"We are doing well as a team and as a Club. Everybody is enjoying their football here. It is very simple: people want to stay here," he added.

Benrahma has previously been linked with a move to Aston Villa, and Watkins has attracted interest from a handful of Premier League sides.

The 24-year-old forward has 18 goals to his name this season, and is joint top of the goal scoring charts in the Championship.

However, Watkins has ruled out leaving the club this window.

The Verdict

Thomas Frank has made it clear that he does not see any outgoings this transfer window. It is unlikely, considering Brentford have a strong chance of achieving promotion to the Premier League.

However, the Bees Head Coach has not provided any information on any players that are looking to come in. It has been reported that the club are lining up Belgian attacker Jonathan Okita from NEC Nijmegen.

The summer window should be the one that Frank is sweating over, as if promotion is not achieved this season, it could result in a mass exodus of key players.
