It's actually been a really positive summer for Leeds United so far this season, who, under new manager Garry Monk, seem to have a positive attitude heading into the new season.

One of the big reasons for this has been the clubs activity in the transfer market, which has seen a selection of quality signings added to the squad including the likes of Marcus Antonsson, Kemar Roofe, and just yesterday, Pablo Hernandez.

This has led to an air of optimism around Elland Road, with many expecting a far better season than last time out under Steve Evans.

However, with so many new players coming in, it will undoubtedly leave some looking over their shoulders with regards to their first team spot.

With this in mind, FLW writer Lee Connor takes a look at THREE Leeds United players who could benefit from joining a new club this summer...

Jordan Botaka

Things have not gone as well as he would have hoped for Jordan Botaka since his move to Elland Road, with his failure to hold down a regular first team place something he will not be happy with.

With new signings coming in to Elland Road under the eye of Garry Monk, Botaka could well find himself pushed even further down the pecking order.

A move away on loan to another English club might benefit Botaka and allow him to get some time on the field and get used to the English game before he makes a real push at making the Leeds first team.

Souleymane Doukara

The skillful striker now finds himself down the pecking order, with Chris Wood, Marcus Antonsson, and Kemar Roofe all ahead of him, while Hadi Sacko and Pablo Hernandez are likely to occupy the wide spots.

This could lead to frustration for Doukara, who is too good a player to simply be left on the bench week in week out.

Doukara might well seek a move away if he is not in the manager's plans, and I am pretty sure their would be plenty of clubs in England interested in making a move for him.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell

The young goalkeeper is likely to find himself minimum third choice this season, with Rob Green and Silvestri already ahead of him, while Ross Turnbull remains on the books.

The keeper is highly thought of though at Elland Road, and a move to League One might well be beneficial for the youngster as he continues his career development.

Leeds will be hoping he turns into a top goalkeeper one day, one who can emulate the success of previously successful goalkeepers like Nigel Martyn and Paul Robinson.

Leeds fans, what do you think? Will the three above struggle for game time at Elland Road? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
