Leeds United have really turned their season around of late, and find themselves well in the mix in the top six as we approach Christmas.

Garry Monk carried out extensive recruitment in the summer, and it looks like it is finally paying dividends for the former Swansea City manager.

Leeds have managed to blend exciting young players with some even more exciting new signings, and the results of late show that success.

A 2-0 win over Aston Villa last night further enhanced their credentials, but Monk will know his team require more to sustain the challenge, including more goals.

Leeds and Monk might well want to look at the Premier League, where a number of strikers are struggling for game time and might well be open to a move to Elland Road in January.

Here, we take a look at TWO Premier League strikers who could fire Leeds United to promotion...

Leonardo Ulloa

After a breathtaking season last time out helping the Foxes to the Premier League title, Ulloa has found himself out of favour this season, following the big money arrival of Slimani in the summer.

Ulloa though is a class act, especially at Championship level, and thrives of crowd support - something he would get plenty of at Leeds.

Ulloa knows where the net is, and even though Leeds have a big man in Chris Wood, he would still be welcomed.

Jonathan Leko

In a team full of young talent, Garry Monk might well fancy adding to that further with the addition of West Brom teenager Leko.

The pacey front man can play across all the positions up top, and his trickery and eye for a goal are massive attributes to the youngster.

Tony Pulis clearly rates Leko, but a short spell somewhere like Leeds might well be the ideal scenario for the development of Leko.
