It's been nothing less than a dream first five months of the season for Brighton & Hove Albion fans.

They suffered a bitterly disappointing end to the 2015/16 campaign, where they were pipped to promotion by Middlesbrough on goal difference before falling to defeat against Sheffield Wednesday in the play-off semi-finals.

But there's a real positive buzz surrounding the Sussex-based club at the moment and very little looks likely to change any time soon.

Manager Chris Hughton has seemingly got his squad together and has all the personnel he needs to continue this rich vein of form.

Despite this, a number of squad members at Brighton would be hoping to play a part of this historical season at the Amex Stadium but it looks as if some may miss out and simply have to be loaned out this month to fulfil their potential and get the minutes on the pitch they deserve.

Here are two players at Brighton & Hove Albion who need to be loaned out in the January transfer window.

Do you agree with my selection?

Kazenga LuaLua

The 26-year-old was a prodigy at Brighton just a few years ago but as time has gone on it seems the winger has been frozen out of the starting eleven at the club.

Kazenga LuaLua joined the South Coast team permanently for an undisclosed fee in 2011 after a difficult four year spell at Newcastle United where he found chances limited.

In his five years at the Amex, LuaLua has made 111 appearances and scored on 13 occasions.

The forward has been restricted to just six matches this season and has one goal to his name during those games, which came in a 4-2 away win against Oxford United in the EFL Cup.

Having been reduced to playing for the under 23's at Brighton, it's clear Kazenga LuaLua has to be loaned out, but I wouldn't sell him because there's still a player in him and I'm sure Hughton won't want to regret allowing the ex-Newcastle man to leave permanently.

Rohan Ince

A player linked with a move away from Brighton every transfer window is defensive midfielder Rohan Ince, who has struggled to make the impact people once though he would have.

The 24-year-old can't even make it on the bench and, just like LuaLua, is currently playing for the under-23's at the club.

Chris Hughton has previously shown his frustration at the lack of game time he had during a loan stint at Fulham last season.

Ince has made 72 appearances for the Seagulls since his arrival in 2012 which proves he was once regarded to be a long-term member of the Brighton & Hove Albion team.

Oliver Norwood, Dale Stephens, Beram Kayal and Steve Sidwell make up the central midfield ranks and it is hard to see Ince penetrating that this season, so a loan move would be best.
