Brentford made it back to back wins on Saturday with an impressive, spirited victory against Middlesbrough at Griffin Park.

The Bees twice surrendered a one goal lead against Jonathan Woodgates men in West London but did not let their head drops, allowing Ollie Watkins to pop up with the winner three minutes from time.

It was a win which moved them to within just two points of the automatic promotion places and their Tuesday night opponents - Leeds United.

The Whites looked to be running away with one of promotion spots to the promised land just two months ago, but a woeful run of form has seen major concerns sneak back in amongst the Whites' contingent.

QUIZ: How much do you know about Brentford’s January signings?

They have lost four of their last five league matches, scoring in just one of those matches as well to add insult to injury, so the Bees will be confident of adding to that woe at Griffin Park.

And it is good news for Thomas Frank and co in the build up with only one minor injury concern for him and his team to contend with.

That concern falls at the feet of former Elland Road favourite Pontus Jansson, who made the move to West London after reportedly falling out with Marcelo Bielsa towards the end of last season.

Frank has said that he will leave until the last moment to assess whether the domineering Swede is ready to line up against his former side or not.

If he is not, expect it to be Ethan Pinnock and Julian Jeanvier lining up together again, which will not be too much of a concern for the fans either.
