Stuart Dallas has sent a message to Leeds United fans on social media, after the 1-0 win over Brentford at Elland Road last night.

The Whites maintained their unbeaten start to the new season and returned to the top of the Championship table on goal difference - thanks to a late winner from substitute Eddie Nketiah on his home debut.

The 20-year-old scored just four minutes after coming off the bench, finishing off Helder Costa's pass from close range to give Leeds a deserved victory, sending the home fans into raptures.

Dallas has reacted to the win by sending a message to Leeds fans on his personal

The 28-year-old wrote: "Doesn’t get much better than 3 points under the lights at a packed Elland road @leedsunited #mot #alaw".

Dallas was an important player for Leeds last season and scored four goals in 30 appearances in all competitions.

The Northern Ireland international has played another key role for the Whites this term and has started every Championship game so far at right-back in the absence of the injured Luke Ayling.

The Verdict

It was a tough game for Leeds last night, but a really important win. I'm sure Dallas and his teammates will be absolutely delighted with the three points and the fact that they were able to maintain their unbeaten start.

The team can take a lot of confidence from their opening few matches and from the fact that they've equalled last season's start of ten points from their opening four league games.

Dallas and his teammates will be hoping to continue their momentum in their next game against Stoke City at the weekend.
