Slaven Bilic has admitted his admiration of Scott Hogan amid reports linking him with a move to West Ham United, according to The Mirror Live Blog [11.00 GMT].
The Mirror reports that West Ham’s offer of £10m for Scott Hogan was rejected by Brentford on Wednesday 4th January and Bilic then spoke highly of the prolific striker.
Speaking about Hogan, Bilic commented:
“He’s a good player. I watched him a few times. He is very sharp, quick. A good finisher. Doing it in the Championship. He’s young and a good prospect. He’s not on our roster though.”
West Ham have been one of many clubs linked with a move for the in-demand 24-year-old, who previously told Get West London that he was open to a move to the Premier League.
The Bees are reportedly holding out for £15m up front and more in add-ons for their star man, who has notched 14 goals in 25 appearances so far this season.
