Sheffield United could be set to sign their second Manchester United player of the week, with the news that Charlie Scott has been on trial with the Blades.

According to a report in the Manchester Evening News, the youngster has moved to Bramall Lane to try and impress and earn a move to the Championship club, and started an under-23 game for Chris Wilder's men in midweek.

A versatile player, Scott is comfortable across the backline while also being able to fill in in central midfield, and despite signing a new deal with the Red Devils in the summer, he could be keen to make a move to Bramall Lane in search of more regular opportunities at first team level.

His Old Trafford teammate James Wilson this week signed for United, completing terms on a loan deal until the end of the current campaign.

Any move for Scott would need to given the ok by Blades manager Chris Wilder, who will be keen to only add players to his squad who he feels will offer something that his squad doesn't quite possess at the moment.

Blades fans, what do you think? Do you need any more new players? Let us know!
