Rotherham United could be set to move for Chesterfield midfielder Jon Nolan, according to a report on HITC Sport.

The 24-year-old has been in good form for Chesterfield this term in what has been a dull season for the Spireites so far. This form has caught the attention of numerous clubs, with the Millers now thought to be one of the leading contenders for his signature.

Danny Wilson though will be keen to keep hold of one their prize assets as he looks to keep Chesterfield in League One. However, an offer of a considerable amount could force the club into a sale given its precarious financial position, and Nolan would be hard pushed to reject a move to the Championship.

Nolan has made over 20 appearances for the Wilson’s men this term, impressing and standing out from his teammates on more than a few occasions.

Rotherham meanwhile look destined for relegation themselves this term and sit firmly rooted to the bottom of the Championship table.

Millers fans, what do you think to this? Good signing? Let us know!
