Rotherham United have allegedly launched a bid of £350,000 for Grimsby Town striker Omar Bogle, according to The Football League Paper.

Bogle has demonstrated tremendous form for the Mariners this term, scoring 18 times in 24 games, which has led to the likes of Leeds United and Nottingham Forest declaring their interest in the 24-year old.

However, news has now emerged that the Millers, who find themselves at the foot of the Championship table, has launched a £350,000 for the prolific forward, in a desperate attempt to add firepower to their frontline.

Grimsby received a £250,000 bid from fellow League Two outfit Barnet earlier on in the campaign, however a move to the Championship could be enough to tempt Bogle away from Blundell Park.

The Millers are in desperate need of some firepower, with the burden heavily falling on striker Danny Ward, who is the top scorer at the Millers this season.

So...What do you think Rotherham fans? Are you confident that you will be able to sign Omar Bogle? Can he cut it in the Championship? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
