Brentford forward Emiliano Marcondes has completed a loan move to Danish Superliga side FC Midtjylland, the Championship side have confirmed on their official website.

The 24-year-old arrived at Griffin Park under Dean Smith in the 2017/18 campaign, after establishing himself as one of the most prolific forwards in the Danish top-flight.

The versatile attacker scored 18 goals in 20 games for FC Nordsjaelland before his move to west London, but he has since endured a frustrating spell with the Bees.

Marcondes has made just eight league starts for Thomas Frank's side, making 21 league appearances from off the bench, and failing to find the back of the net in a total of 31 games for Brentford thus far.

But now, the club have confirmed that Marcondes has signed for Danish Superliga leaders Midtjylland until the 31st of December, with Frank hoping that he regains his confidence in front of goal back in his home country.
